How mold testing works.
We start with a visual inspection for moisture-related concerns. A moisture meter and thermal camera help assess suspect areas; thermal imaging identifies temperature differences and does not directly detect mold.
Using the Breeze ET system, we collect air samples from areas of concern and an outdoor control sample. An accredited laboratory identifies spore types and concentrations, allowing comparison between indoor and outdoor samples.
Your report explains the laboratory findings, observations and recommendations. We can discuss further evaluation where moisture or elevated mold levels are identified.

How does mold testing work?
We start with a visual inspection for moisture concerns, using a moisture meter and thermal camera on suspect areas. We then collect air samples with the Breeze ET system, plus an outdoor control sample for comparison.
Who analyzes the samples?
An accredited laboratory identifies the spore types and concentrations. Your report explains the lab findings, our observations and recommended next steps.
Can a thermal camera detect mold?
No. Thermal imaging shows temperature differences that can point to moisture, but it does not directly detect mold. Air sampling and lab analysis give measured results.
When should I consider mold testing?
Persistent musty odours, visible suspected growth, water staining, previous leaks, condensation or concerns after water damage are all good reasons to test.
