Condo inspections start at $425 for units under 1,000 sq ft, and go up to $575 for 3,001 to 4,000 sq ft. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
What do you inspect in a condo?
We inspect the unit’s accessible systems and components, including electrical, plumbing, heating and ventilation, interior finishes, windows, doors and installed appliances, with thermal imaging included.
What about the rest of the building?
Shared elements like the roof, envelope and parkade are managed by the strata. Your complimentary strata document review helps you understand their condition, maintenance plans and potential costs.
What is the free strata document review?
Every condo inspection includes a strata document review in the Inspect Canada app. It organizes minutes, depreciation reports and other records to highlight maintenance, building issues and potential costs.
How long does a condo inspection take?
Most condo inspections take about 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the size of the unit.
Is it worth inspecting a newer condo?
Yes. Newer units can still have installation issues, leaks or unfinished work. Finding them early gives you time to raise them with the seller, strata or warranty provider.
