How much does a home inspection cost in Vancouver?
Detached home inspections start at $575 for homes under 2,000 sq ft and go up to $750 for 4,001 to 5,000 sq ft. An additional suite is $75 and a laneway or coach home is $250. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
How long does a home inspection take?
Most detached homes take about 2.5 to 4 hours, depending on the size, age and condition of the property.
When will I get my report?
The same day. Your digital report includes photos, clear explanations and practical recommendations, and it works on your phone or computer. We can share it with your agent too.
Should I attend the inspection?
You’re welcome to. Many clients join for the last part so we can walk through the main findings together and answer questions on site.
Is thermal imaging included?
Yes, on every home inspection. Thermal imaging helps investigate unusual surface temperatures that can point to moisture or insulation concerns. It does not see through walls.
What isn’t covered by a home inspection?
A home inspection is a visual assessment of readily accessible areas and systems. Laboratory mold testing, radon testing and specialist pest inspections are separate services you can add.
