Why train with Foxhound
Real homes.
Real clients.
Most training happens in a classroom or on staged houses. Here you’re on a real inspection from start to finish, so you see what the job is actually like.
- 01
Train on real inspections
Every session is a live inspection of a real home with a real client, not a classroom mock-up.
- 02
One-on-one, not a group
It’s just you and Said. Ask anything, see everything and go at your own pace.
- 03
No secrets
We show you exactly how we work: the inspection routine, the tools, the report and how we run the business.
- 04
Thermal imaging, mold and radon
See how thermal imaging, moisture testing, mold sampling and radon testing fit into a real inspection.
- 05
Learn to present findings
Watch how findings are explained to buyers on site: clear, calm and without alarming anyone. Schools rarely teach this.
- 06
See the same-day report
Follow a finding from the photo to the finished report, and learn how to write it so clients understand it.

Questions
Training FAQ.
Who is this training for?
Students working toward their BC home inspector licence, newly licensed inspectors who want more field time, and anyone in a related trade who wants to see how a professional inspection is done.
What should I bring?
Sturdy shoes, a notebook and your questions. Bring a flashlight and moisture meter if you have them, so you can practise with your own tools.
Can I book more than one session?
Yes. Many trainees start with a condo, then move on to townhouses and houses as they build confidence. Each session is booked separately.
Does this count toward my licence?
Check with your training program and Consumer Protection BC about which field hours count. We can give you a written record of the inspections you attended.
